Burke’s mission is “Working Together to Improve Lives.” Burke works to do this by providing high-quality, personalized, evidence-based mental health, early childhood intervention, and intellectual and developmental disability services to individuals in East Texas.

Burke provides services in 11 East Texas counties. Across our region, we operate over 30 facilities that specialize in person-centered care for every client. Part of the East Texas healthcare community for over 50 years, Burke employs more counselors, psychiatrists, and caseworkers than any other provider.

Our Person-Centered Philosophy places the individual at the core of their own care, recognizing their unique experiences, preferences, values, and needs. It aims to foster dignity, autonomy, and respect while empowering individuals to take an active role in their own healing and growth.
