Lufkin’s 2016 Climb out of the Darkness event occurs on Saturday, June 18 at Grace Dunn Richardson Park in Lufkin.
Climb out of the Darkness is the world’s largest event for raising awareness of maternal mental illness, including postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, psychosis, and pregnancy depression and anxiety.
Join Team Lufkin in a walk to symbolize their collective rise out of the darkness, reduce stigma, rally support, and raise funds to support Postpartum Progress.
Postpartum Progress is a non-profit organization that provides online resources and community outreach programs that aid postpartum women suffering postpartum mental illnesses.
