Studies have shown that people with significant mental illness often ignore their physical health care needs, putting them at risk of dying twenty-five years earlier than the general population. Meanwhile, people that address both their mental and physical health report a higher quality of life and greater overall wellbeing.
As part of our commitment to our client’s well-being, Burke has partnered with Angelina Counties and Cities Health District to provide primary care to Burke clients who may otherwise be without a health care provider.
Burke’s Medical Services consist of a team of clinicians. Physician assistant, Aaron Dudley, P.A. and Tammy Larned, R.N., B.S.N. oversee operations, which is housed in our new facility at 1522 West Frank Street. Medical Services will be open 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
